Common CPD Questions
Common CPD Questions What are the skills and qualifications of the trainers and course designers?
The team at Learning Cultures that design and deliver the courses and programmes that we offer are all experienced education specialists who have worked in senior leadership positions in schools and colleges in the UK and internationally. We work closely with the Association for Coaching and several universities and teacher training providers to ensure that we are as up to date as we can possibly be in terms of policy and research.
Will I receive a certificate for the course or programme I am attending for my CPD record?
We always provide certificates of attendance for all our courses, programmes and in school INSET events. These will provide proof of CPD undertaken and the hours of study allocated to the course you have attended.
What discounts are available if my school want to book onto several courses that complement each other?
We offer a second delegate rate of £50 discount on the course fee. We can also offer discounts where several staff want to attend a course of a number of courses. This is on a discretionary basis and will depend on availability.
How can I continue to access the materials and resources that are used on a course that I attend?
We provide everything electronically so that delegates can continue to use the materials for their own professional development and share and cascade their learning with others. For some of our courses the materials are stored on a virtual platform that can be accessed after the event for ease of use.
What happens if I am unable to attend the course that I have booked a place for?
There is no charge if you cancel the booking up to 7 days before the course is taking place, within seven days we will charge the full fee. We are sometimes prepared to offer the opportunity to join the next course if there are places available for a cancellation fee of £50.00 + VAT.
Can I book the course and then wait for an invoice so that my school can pay for the course or service?
There is a choice of payment methods, either invoice, credit card or debit card payment or payment through PayPal. Your booking will be secure with any of these payment methods. However, we do require payment of the invoice on our terms of 7 days from placing the booking or immediately if the course is taking place within a period of 7 days.
