Hello I am Glynis and I am here to guide you through the five sections that make up this Learning Cultures’ course about transition from key stage 2 to 3.

I have been closely associated with research linked to this very important subject for nearly twenty years and have a wealth of experience and good practice to share with you.

This is one of the most important points of transition for pupils and it is vital that schools have a strategy and carefully crafted policy to use as they create opportunities for pupils to make a successful leap across the transition bridge and make excellent progress in year 7, the rest of key stage 3 and have the right skills and knowledge in preparation for key stage 4 and beyond.
