Alongside the previous slide this one takes you through the basic skills of a coach.

You will see by going through each of these that the process of learning some coaching skills will enhance your prowess in the classroom, as a team member and as part of a whole school staff.

It is the positive dialogue the opportunities to use open and probing questions to help others towards being able to learn.

Coaching is all about reflection, openness and mutual trust and can be hugely beneficial for the Cover Supervisor to be aware of in their journey towards being an integral and valued member of a team and of the school.
