We have drawn together some of the pedagogical approaches that are synonymous with active, independent and participative teaching and learning.
We have included didactic teaching which, of course, is not participative but is sometimes an essential way to create understanding, set the scene or draw pupils back from a lack of understanding or misconception.
They are included as a powerpoint document and can be turned into a set of cards to use as part of a group activity. Use a guillotine to create the same size cards and follow the instructions on the next slide.
