Negative language indicators

Whatever the answer you receive you want to try to steer your coachee away from the negative.

Many individuals, teachers included do find that they are negative in their response to anything to do with their own strengths and abilities.

Look out for negative indicators and find a way to ask another question that focuses on how they can be positive in their response.

What have you achieved so far in trying to move forward? You failed, what did you learn from that process, what would you do differently next time?

What is getting in the way and how can you remove the obstacle that is stopping you?
