Coaching is all about confidence and self-awareness. It is about how you the coach using questioning and good listening to influence the behaviours and attitudes of pupils you work with in the classroom. It is also useful to know how to use coaching techniques with colleagues. If you have no cover work ask the question, how would you feel if you went into a classroom with nothing prepared at all? Rather than a statement, there was no cover work for this class.

This course will not make you into a coach but learning some of the skills and raising awareness of the power of coaching to create change and challenge in the classroom and elsewhere is uplifting.
