There is a tacit agreement by all subject leaders and experts there should be parity where all learners whatever there starting point can access the curriculum
Progression is assured because the planned curriculum is designed to take account of how learners move towards clearly defined end points
The curriculum is ambitious and embraces the aims of national curricular or end of key stage tests
Ensuring learners can build competence in basic, core and thinking skills is at the heart of planning to ensure all learners can access the full curriculum
The curriculum has breadth and depth and creates for the learner the ability to make connections across the curriculum as well as within subject specific learning
