Lee Taylor
Lee Taylor is an educator with thirty-three years of experience in primary and secondary settings. He is engaged in educational leadership research with Keele University specialising is co-operative learning and leadership with a focus on student centred curriculum and pedagogy.
He has served as a school leader in several schools and colleges and has served as headteacher twice. His most recent position has been as a Senior Executive Leader for a Trust and senior bid writer for new schools.
He has work for NCTL since 2010 writing and delivering middle, senior and headship courses up to NPQH and he now continues in the field of education consultancy with Learning Cultures.
Much of Lee’s doctoral research has looked at how young people use social and emotional settings to gain energy and inspiration to learn both the set curriculum and their self-directed curriculum. At this time of uncertainty in schools and colleges, and where learners may have spent protracted time out of school, it has never been more important to capture the essence of what engages young minds in their own growth. He has inspired many leaders, managers, teachers and others with his deep understanding of the behaviours and values that create the successful school and he has a depth of knowledge both practical and theoretical that enhance his ability to inspire those who attend his training.
